Getting Started as a Coach

Welcome to the team! You've been invited to FanAngel Connect, and getting set up takes only a few minutes. This short video walks you through accepting your invitation, downloading the app, and finding your way around — so you can start connecting with your athletes and their families right away.

Part 1 — Accept Your Invitation

Your invitation arrives by email. Here's how to set up your account:

  1. Open the invitation email in your inbox — it lets you know you've been invited to join your team on FanAngel Connect.
  2. Select Create an account, then enter your name, email, and a password. This is your personal login for every team you're part of.
  3. Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and install it on your phone.
  4. Open the app and log in with the email and password you just created.
  5. The first time you sign in, review and accept your school's coach policy to continue.

Prefer a computer? You can also log in from any web browser at connect.fanangel.com — FanAngel Connect is the safe, secure way to stay connected with your team on and off the field.

Part 2 — Find Your Way Around

After you log in you'll land on My Teams, your home base. Open a team to reach its hub, where everything you need lives in one place.

  1. From My Teams, tap the team you want to open. If you help with more than one, they're all listed here.
  2. Inside the team hub, explore Posts, Chats, Members, stats, schedules, and more.
  3. Open Invite & Approve to share join codes — a separate code for participants, parents/guardians, coaches, and volunteers. When someone enters their code in the app, they join in that role automatically.
  4. Or choose Invite team member to add someone directly by email or phone, set their role and permissions, and send.
  5. Track everyone from the Members tab, and search or filter to find any athlete, parent, or fellow coach.

Tip: Join codes are the fastest way to bring in a whole group — share the right code in a team message and let everyone join themselves.
